1. Are all of you actual Marine Corps Drill Instructors? [top]

Currently, all Team members that are motivational speakers were former Marine Corps Drill Instructors. We do not have any active Drill Instructors because they work seven days a week and long hours providing the necessary training to make our fleet of Marines the very best in the world.

2. Did you enjoy doing the shows Boot Camp and Celebrity Boot Camp? [top]

Yes, we did. It was a little different, of course, but the fundamentals were there. Bottom line? It’s always a pleasure making a positive difference in someone’s life.

3. What is the best part about being a Drill Instructor? [top]

Putting them in the dirt! Again, just teasing. There is such a greater feeling of satisfaction knowing that you assisted someone in their growth potetntial and being a significant part of their life. We train them hard, put them into our Band of Brother organization, and make them part of a great team with an unsurpassed history.

4. Who was/is your favorite recruit? [top]

Tough question! Each of us had a favorite due to the diverse personalities of both the recruits and Drill Instructors. So, the answer is, ALL OF THEM AND NONE OF THEM! We still keep in touch with some of the recruits; others carried away the motova8 message and picked up their lives where they temporarily left off.

5. You guys seem so motivated all the time, who or what motivates you? [top]

Our motivation comes to us through the training of others. When you are in a position like we are, there is simply no room for non-motivation. “Please depend on us”? that is our motivation.

6. Who do you like working with better: TV recruits, celebrity recruits, military recruits or civilian recruits? [top]

We enjoy working with all recruits because we see what they gain from our training. However, there is a feeling that can not be described in words on the sensation of seeing a platoon of Marine recruits progress through 13 weeks of the best and worst times of their lives and claim the title United States Marine!

7. Why did you start Motova8? [top]

The idea came to me [Tony] before we filmed the show Boot Camp and Celebrity Boot Camp. The shows gave us the leverage and exposure that enabled us to launch motova8 at the level for which it needed to be truly successful. The best ideas in the world go unnoticed if there is no one to speak about it.

8. Do you hold camps for troubled teens? [top]

Although we have done a tremendous amount of work in the area of youth fitness and various high school seminars, we do not host one of this kind at this time. All of our Motova8 members, though, are VERY involved with the success of our nation’s youth, as they are truly a direct representation of our future. It is our responsibility to train them right and provide them with every opportunity to succeed.

9. Can the DIs come speak at my school or youth organization? [top]

We would LOVE to! It truly depends on scheduling and the availability of our Team. We have spoken at so many high schools it is hard to keep track of. Our firm belief in education and molding our future leaders is something that we take very seriously.

10. I want to become a Drill Instructor like you. How can I do it? [top]

Go see the Marine recruiter. After being found qualified to join the Marine Corps, proving yourself as a Marine in the Fleet Marine Force, and obtaining the rank of at least Corporal with sufficient time in service, you are now ready to apply for Drill Instructor School. Give us a call for some good guidance then!

11. Was Fox TV’s Boot Camp like a real Marine Corps boot camp? [top]

There were as many similarities as there were differences. One thing that all the Drill Instructors agreed upon, however, is the fact that it was as REAL as you will get without going through the real deal Marine Corps boot camp.

12. I loved the show Boot Camp! Is there going to be another one? If so, will you be in it? [top]

These are the most popular questions we get regarding the show. We hope to be a part of a future installment due to our commitment to the project and the influence that we have to make it a great event for everyone involved. Only time will tell.

13. Where can I write to request that Boot Camp be put back on TV? [top]

Write to LMNO Productions, attn: Boot Camp at www.lmnotv.com.

14. Have you guys been in any other movies or shows? [top]

Yes, we have. Collectively, other than Boot Camp and Celebrity Boot Camp, we have had appearances on Seventh Heaven, Fastlane, The Chair, TV commercials, and more. To be notified of our upcoming appearances, click here.

15. I have always wanted to go to a boot camp that doesn’t require me to join the service. Do you have a “civilian boot camp”? If so, what is it about? [top]

We currently do not have a facility where we host a boot camp program. However, it is in our company objectives to have this facility one day. At present, we host our themed event seminars and executive retreats in various parts of the country.

16. How long have you been in the Marine Corps? Are you still active? [top]

Here is a quick overview, but feel free to click on Team Motova8 for more info:
Tony – On active duty for 17 years.
Dave – Recently retired after 22+ years.
Leo – Retired a few years back.
Juanita – On active duty for 16 years.

17. Was it hard to transition from Marine Corps Drill Instructors to professional speakers? [top]

Not at all! We have some much fun doing what we do, and since it so well received, the transition was easy. There are many similarities to what we do now and what we did as Drill Instructors. We don’t YELL as much anymore?only when needed!

18. Where can I read more about the DI’s? [top]

Besides our Team Motova8 section, you can also read the latest interviews with Tony and Dave on www.realitytvfans.com by entering “Rosenbum” or “Francisco” next to the “Headline” field and then clicking the “Submit” button.

19. Can I get an autographed picture of you? [top]

We would love to be able send something to all the gr8 fans we have accumulated over the last few years but it gets expensive and difficult to keep track of. However, if you send a request in and enclose a check for $4.95 we would be happy to send you a pic. This would cover our costs of shipping and handling along with reprints for future requests. If you want one of each Drill Instructor, please just add $2.50 per picture requested. Be sure to provide your name, a return address, and an email if possible.

20. Can I get notified of your upcoming appearances and projects? [top]

You sure can. Just send an email to services@motova8.com and we’ll set you up. And, we promise we won’t rent or sell your information to third parties.
