

Drill Instructor Dave Francisco has been a member of the Marine Corps since 1980. He began his career in the infantry and worked his way to the top enlisted rank of sergeant major. His personal decorations include three Navy-Marine Corps Commendation Medals, two Navy-Marine Corps Achievemen Medals and two Combat Action Ribbons.
Outside the Marine Corps, Francisco's interests are in youth-related activities that promote team effort, discipline, respect, and a willingness to accept responsibility. Helping young people "get on a solid path for success in life," is one of this DI's main focuses.
Francisco was one of four DIs chosen to co-star in the TV reality series "Boot Camp", which aired on Fox in 2001. Francisco lives with his wife Kathy and daughters Ashley and Hayley in Oceanside, Calif.
